Annual meeting

The new grant period has officially begun, and preparations are underway for our next General Meeting, taking place in Vienna on 23–27 February 2026.

We are designing a dynamic and engaging programme that will bring together researchers, practitioners, and stakeholders from across sectors. The meeting will feature thematic sessions led by the Working Groups, interactive round tables, invited talks, and hands-on workshops, with a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, capacity building, collaborative side projects, and effective communication of research outcomes.

The programme will also include a biologging training school and, depending on interest, optional field excursions. While the detailed agenda is still in development, the draft programme already outlines an exciting week of discussion, learning, and collaboration. We look forward to welcoming many of you to Vienna in 2026!
