EUFLYNET at IEOC 2025 – Supporting Collaboration Across the Flyway

From 19 to 21 May 2025, several EUFLYNET members took part in the International Ecology and Ornithology Conference (IEOC) in Iași, Romania.This interdisciplinary event brought together researchers from across Europe and beyond, working on bird ecology, migration, and conservation.
As part of the conference, we presented a poster showcasing the aims and progress of the EUFLYNET COST Action (CA22117). It was a great opportunity to raise awareness about the network, share insights from our ongoing activities, and connect with ornithologists and ecologists from diverse backgrounds.
We were glad to see strong interest in our work—especially around capacity building, data sharing, and promoting collaboration across the flyway.Many thanks to everyone who visited our poster, asked insightful questions, and shared their own research and ideas!
