EUFLYNET Training School: Basic Statistics Course in Milan

EUFLYNET is pleased to announce an upcoming training school on basic statistics, organised by Alessandra Costanzo and Roberto Ambrosini, which will take place 15–19 June 2026 in Milan, Italy.
The course is designed to support researchers who want to strengthen their quantitative and analytical skills for ecological research. Participation will be limited to approximately 20 participants attending in person and 20 joining online.
The programme will cover key topics essential for analysing ecological data, including:

introduction to statistics and R
analysis of variance and regression analysis
linear models and generalized least square (GLS) models
linear models and generalized linear models (GLMs)
how to plan and structure a research project
This training school repeats the successful course organised in June 2025. Participants who attended last year’s edition are kindly asked not to apply again.

Please note that according to COST Action rules, participants attending in person will initially need to cover travel and accommodation costs themselves. These costs will be reimbursed by EUFLYNET after the training school. Applicants who are unable to cover these upfront costs are encouraged to consider online participation.
