We are pleased to announce that a new call for Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSM), Young Researcher and Innovator (YRI), and ITC Conference Grants is now open within EUFLYNET.

These funding opportunities aim to support scientific collaboration, mobility, and knowledge exchange among researchers working on migratory species and flyway ecology. The grants are designed to strengthen international cooperation, foster new research ideas, and support the career development of early-career scientists.

Available opportunities

Short-Term Scientific Missions (STSM)

STSMs support research visits to institutions in other countries participating in the Action. They allow researchers to learn new methods, develop collaborations, analyse data jointly, or work on publications.

Young Researcher and Innovator (YRI) Conference Grants

These grants support early-career researchers who wish to attend international conferences and actively present their work related to the EUFLYNET Action.

ITC Conference Grants

Researchers affiliated with institutions in Inclusiveness Target Countries (ITC) can apply for financial support to participate in international scientific conferences and disseminate their research.

Deadline

📅 Application deadline: 23 March 2026

We strongly encourage all eligible researchers interested in expanding their collaborations and contributing to EUFLYNET activities to apply.

Further information about eligibility, application procedures, and grant conditions are available also here: Activities | EUFLYNET.

Stay tuned and good luck with your applications!
